MPQ3410 1.3A, 550kHz Synchronous Rectified Step-Up Converter AEC-Q100 Qualified The Future of Analog IC Technology FEATURES DESCRIPTION Guaranteed Industrial/Automotive Temp The MPQ3410 is a highly efficient, synchronous, Range Limits fixed frequency, current-mode step-up converter Over 90% Efficiency with output to input disconnect, inrush current Output to Input Disconnect at Shutdown Mode limiting and internal soft-start. It includes an error amplifier, ramp generator, comparator, N-Channel Internal Synchronous Rectifier switch and P-Channel synchronous rectified Inrush Current Limiting and Internal Soft-Start switch (which greatly improves efficiency). The Internal Compensation output disconnect feature allows the output to be 1.3A Typical Switch Current Limit completely isolated from the input in shutdown 550kHz Fixed Switching Frequency mode. Zero Current Shutdown Mode Thermal Shutdown The 550kHz switching frequency allows for 5-Pin TSOT-23 Package smaller external components producing a compact solution for a wide range of load currents. Available in AEC-Q100 Qualified Grade 1 The internal compensation and soft-start APPLICATIONS minimizes the external component count and limits the inrush current during startup. The MP3 Players MPQ3410 has integrated power MOSFET which Handheld Computers and PDAs can support up to 6V output and typical 1.3A Digital Still and Video Cameras switch current. External Modems Small LCD Displays The MPQ3410 is offered in a thin SOT23-5 package. All MPS parts are lead-free and adhere to the RoHS directive.
