System PMIC for Battery Powered Systems BD71805MWV General Description Battery Monitoring and Alarm Output The BD71805MWV is a single chip power management - Under Voltage Alarm while Discharging IC for battery-powered portable devices. It integrates 4 - Over Discharge Current Alarm Bucks, 3 LDOs, 2A single-cell linear charger, OVP, - Over/Under Temperature Alarm Coulomb counter, RTC, 32 kHz crystal circuitry and 3 - Programmable Thresholds and Time Durations GPOs. - Automatic Low Voltage Mode (Battery Protection) 3.5V Detection : Four highly efficient 2.5MHz step-down converters Interrupt to Processor to Ask User Plug-in supply power to the application processor as well as 3.3V Detection : system peripherals such as DDR memory, wireless Interrupt to Processor to Indicate Battery Critically modules, and touch controller. The regulator to the Low Condition processor core supports DVS. The regulators maintain Real Time Clock with 32.768kHz Crystal Oscillator high efficiency over a wide range of current loads by - 32.768kHz Clock Output supporting both PFM and PWM modes. High switching (Open Drain or CMOS Output Selectable) frequency allows the use of smaller and cheaper 3 GPOs (Open Drain or CMOS Output Selectable) inductors and capacitors.
