The TN815-800B-TR is a bipolar linear integrated circuit designed by STMicroelectronics for voltage regulator applications. It is used to provide a stable, low ripple, and low dropout voltage to logic circuitry, amplifiers, and other electronic components. It provides a regulated 8V output with a current rating of 1.5A and a voltage accuracy of 1%. The IC also features short-circuit protection and thermal shutdown, making it a reliable and safe power source. It requires an input voltage of 10V to 30V and has a quiescent current of 30mA. The output is adjustable via an external resistor and features a temperature range of 0°C to 125°C.
