Active current R = 50 m DS(on) limitation avoids the system power supply dropping in case of shorted load. Built-in thermal V = V - 55 V demag CC shutdown protects the chip from overtemperature. Digital input clamped at 32 V The open drain diagnostic output indicates overtemperature conditions. Figure 1.
