The VBT3045BP-E3/8W is a 30A 45V Schottky PV Solar Bypass manufactured by Vishay Semiconductors Schottky Diodes & Rectifiers. This part is designed for use in photovoltaic system applications in which it is desirable to bypass the entire solar system when the output voltage from the solar array reaches a certain level. This Schottky diode has a forward voltage drop of between 1.2V and 1.5V and a reverse leakage current of less than 10µA at 25°C. The part is rated for operation at temperatures between -55°C and 125°C, with a maximum reverse surge current of 6A. It is constructed in an insulated molded plastic TO-3 flat package with a copper alloy cathode plate and hermetically sealed glass body. The VBT3045BP-E3/8W is designed for ultimate reliability in harsh environment applications.
