The MIC3809YM is a synchronized/resonant PWM controller/driver from Microchip that can run 0.01 to 1MHz with 0.5A maximum channel load drive per channel. It is available in an industry-standard 8-lead, small outline package (SO8) with push-pull outputs. The part is designed to drive one or two bipolar switching devices such as MOSFETs, IGBTs, and PNP/NPN transistors. It features built-in gate drive, on/off control, synchronization input, pre-bias start-up, soft-start, over-temperature protection, and over-voltage protection.
