It is a four-terminal device with an average current of 40 amperes and a repetitive peak off-state voltage of 400 volts. It is designed for AC motor control, power regulation, and power control in rectifier circuits in both commercial and industrial applications. It is commonly used with applications that use load sharing, such as uninterruptible power supplies, electric pumps, and low voltage motors.
