Additional Infomation About Product

The MCR218-6G is a monolithic Schottky rectifier device manufactured by ON Semiconductor. It is an ideal choice for power rectification applications in both low- and high-voltage circuit designs. The device is constructed with two Schottky diodes configured in a reverse-parallel, symmetrical arrangement, providing higher peak current ratings than equivalent single diode solutions. Each diode provides 600V of protection and 6.0A of forward conduction current, which makes this device well suited for use in fast switching flyback topologies. The device has low reverse leakage current of 25µA at 65V and a low forward voltage drop of 600mV at 3.0A. The package comes with a small form factor and fast thermal response making it ideal for high-frequency, low-profile designs such as lighting applications, energy storage systems, and low-power motor control.
