The SD20M60AC is a Motor Drivers DIP-27 RoHS manufactured by Silan, which is a high current, low loss switchmode pulse width modulation (PWM) controller and series, shunt, bipolar chopper-based, monolithic integrated circuit. It is specifically designed for high-power switchmode applications such as DC furnace fans, pumps, and electric vehicle propulsion systems. The device features an integrated low-loss switch with ultra-low output voltage (Voltage RMS 5V). It is capable of driving engines up to 600W with peak current up to 3A. The device includes protection mechanism such as the over-temperature protection (active-Therm reset), overpower reset, load disconnection capability, automatic standby mode, and over-voltage protection. Its high operating frequencies are up to 500kHz and its excellent switching speed is capable of switching from full speed to zero in less than 1s.
