The LTC6951IUHF#PBF is an ultralow jitter multi-output clock synthesizer with integrated VCO (voltage-controlled oscillator) that supports frequencies from 1.95MHz to 2500MHz. It is manufactured by Analog Devices and designed for use in mixed-signal communications systems. The device combines a highly-integrated PLL (phase-locked loop) with a dedicated VCO that ensures jitter performance that is independent of load conditions. Additionally, the device offers an input reference clock frequency from 6MHz to 52MHz and supports up to three output clocks. The circuit includes an integrated bias current switch sampler that provides true jitter measurement during the PLL locking process and also helps in avoiding false trigger issues. The PLL loop also includes internal VCO frequency doubler circuitry that improves both output frequency accuracy and jitter reduction. The device also features adjustable output delays and sequential power-up control, making it well-suited to mission-critical applications.
