MCH5908H-TL-E is an integrated circuit (IC) manufactured by ON Semiconductor. It is a high voltage, ultra low current and ultra fast switching CHT (controlled turn-off) thyristor and diode. This device is used in AC and DC line protection applications, where the targeted applications include motor drive systems, telecom, lighting, and transformerless inverters. It features fast turn-off time of < 8ns, under-voltage lockout protection, and high dv/dt and di/dt capabilities. It is also capable of handling high voltage up to 800 V and a surge current up to 150A.
