The VS6038AI with New Quadratic Unclassified Data TO-251 RoHS manufactured by Vanguard is a low-power, low-cost voltage supervisor IC. It includes an on-chip reference voltage generator, a voltage monitoring comparator, and a reset signal generator, all within an 8-pin TO-251 package which is compliant with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive that restricts the use of hazardous materials in the manufacture of electronic and electron products. The VS6038AI also has two selectable reset threshhold voltages, two programmable output states (normal or active-low reset), an open drain output, and a 400kHz maximum oscillation frequency. This part is suitable for applications such as power on reset, microprocessor supervisory, system monitoring, and process/circuit initialization.
