The STN790A is a digital-controlled, enhanced performance, 14-pin power MOSFET Transistor (Bipolar Junction Transistor; BJT) manufactured by STMicroelectronics. It is designed for use in power switching applications and is capable of operation at higher voltages and currents than standard BJT transistors. The STN790A includes features to reduce power dissipation, such as logic level operation, high voltage breakdown and short circuit protection. The STN790A is available in both through-hole and Surface Mount Device (SMD) packages.
